The BABC 28th Annual Economic Forecast Luncheon
21 January, 2018
Florin Pensions is very much looking forward to the British American Business Councilβs 28th Annual Economic Forecast Luncheon , which takes place at the City Club of San Francisco, on Wednesday, January 31st 2018.
As ever, the BABC has organized an excellent line-up of business experts to discuss both local and global economic patterns. For British expats, the impact of Brexit will be a significant issue for the foreseeable future. It is no surprise, therefore, to see that Brexit is prominently featured on the agenda. The discussion is set to also include recent tax reforms, deregulation, and the volatility of the current US administration.
Featured speakers include Sean Randolph, President & CEO of the Bay Area Council Economic Institute and Ninh Chung, Head of Investment Strategy and Portfolio Management for SVB Asset Management. Adding notable British perspectives will be Pete Flint, Managing Partner of early stage venture capital fund NFX and a founder of GBx (the leading British technology community based in Silicon Valley) and Hannah Kuchler, the San Francisco Correspondent for the Financial Times.
We always appreciate the perspectives gained through participation in the BABC, and highly recommend these opportunities to network with our thriving Bay Area community of Brits working abroad. For more information on the event, visit the BABCβs event page.
